Volunteering abroad

First impressions:

I will go to Cameroon to be volunteering because I feel that I can help, and it has someone that needs this help. Cameroon have a population of 9 millions habitants.
At the airport, I was in the best part of Cameroon, there it have so much shop and stores, it was a very good place, then in the first place I go, it was more rural, and smell so bad, but doesn’t matter because I feel very comfortable helping others, the houses are very precarious, some have not electricity, the kids have to help very much to do the work in the house, clean, cook and all this things.

Itinerary:

My experience:

I’m very happy to use my gap year to go to Cameroon and help kids and all the people that need help, when I help I feel like I’m so useful in this world. It was a very good experience, and I recommend other people who feel that want help, that use a gap year to go to any country that have people that need to have more books or more food.
This year I will learn so much, now I gain more experience and confidence, for the first time travelers, I recommend Cameroon because it’s very interesting and it has so many landscapes! Yaunde, the capital of the country, i choose, it's so beautiful, i have  never seen a city like this, the people are very nice. The  It’s an opportunity to break out from education to help other people and opening yourself up.
